Maurrie (Morrison) Sussman calls the West Coast of the United States her home. As a child she, along with her parents Jesse and Mazie, and her sister Rebecca, spent her summers camping, fishing [ ]


and touring the great outdoors. Mazie made certain the camping experiences continued even while Jesse, a Marine Corp colonel, was assigned overseas. These adventures helped create an outgoing and adventurous spirit in the girls. Sussman, as an adult, used this sprit and her entrepreneurial skills to create small businesses in the service industry . In addition to managing these businesses Sussman's humanitarian interests in others led her to volunteer work with the Phoenix Red Cross, feeding the homeless at Andre House and working with AIDS projects. In 1998 she and Rebecca created Sisters on the Fly, which has become the largest women's outdoor adventure organization in the country. Sussman serves as president of SOTF and is President/Chairman of the board of the newly formed Mazie Morrison Foundation. The Mazie Morrison Foundation is dedicated to supporting women and children in their endeavors to succeed in any capacity, as represented by the spirit of their mother Mazie.
Rebecca (Morrison) Clarke

Rebecca (Morrison) Clarke is a native Californian, grew up on the sunny shores of Laguna Beach, CA. Rebecca is one of two founding members, along with her sister, of Sisters on the Fly, the largest women's outdoor [ ]


adventure group in the country. Clark has pursued a lifetime career in interior design and has owned and operated retail home design and interior businesses in California and in Idaho where she currently resides. In 2015 Clarke became Vice President and a founding member of the board of directors of the Mazie Morrison Foundation.
Kaarin Simpson

Kaarin Simpson is a native Californian, a long-time member of Sisters on the Fly where she serves as the Corporate Secretary, and is a founding member of the board of directors of the Mazie Morrison [ ]


Foundation, where she also serves as the Corporate Secretary. In addition to a career in the newspaper and transportation industry, Simpson has long been interested in the nonprofit area. She has been active as a volunteer in equine related programs for children and adults who are physically and emotionally challenged at M.A.R.E. (Mastering Abilities Riding Equines) in Bakersfield, CA and a similar nonprofit, the Happy Trails Academy in Visalia, CA. For nine years she also served as the administrator for a private foundation with $17M in resources.
Linda Harris

Linda Harris

Linda is a native Montanan, a member of Sisters on the Fly and is a founding member of the board of directors of the Mazie Morrison Foundation, where she serves as the Foundation treasurer. [ ]


Linda's favorite quote is "You must be the change you wish to see" and whether in her work or volunteering tries to be that change. Linda currently serves on her local hospital board. During her term as Chair a new facility was built and opened. She was instrumental in all aspects of this project including the capital campaign of $3 million. She is very active with her professional organization "Accounting and Financial Women's Alliance" and in July of 2016 will begin her term as National President. Linda is a CPA and owns her own practice in Absarokee, Montana.
Sherry Gibbons

Sherry Gibbons, a native Texan, is a passionate traveler who also happens to own a real estate investing company. She has been in business for 25 years having owned and operated three [ ]


successful businesses. In her free times she enjoys wine tasting, writing, vintage trailer restoration and glamping, fishing, cowgirling, environmental cleanup/outdoor studies and connecting people. Sherry is innovative and creative in her thinking, and expert in decision making. Sherry is a wife, mom, business owner, cat owner and home rehabber.
Christa Branch

Christa Branch, was lucky enough to be raised out west where the value of outdoor adventure shaped her journey. She carried her Girl Scout mentality to Sisters on the Fly and has been able to teach [ ]


and learn from the wonderful women she's met. In addition to being a veterinarian for the last several decades, she also spends a lot of her spare time volunteering; often in support of community. Christa has spent time with the Mainstreet program, local festivals and events and Special Olympics. It is the combination of all these passions that makes her time on the Mazie Morrison Foundation board such a perfect fit.
